Dambar Bahadur Thapa

D.B Thapa started photography since 1960 A.D. To him photography is an art.He says,"I am an artist.The photographer knows how to bring natural beauty in the photo.I am an artist and I know the way to beautify the images.In photography, photographer should have good knowledge about timing of clicking and other thing he/she should know is about lens." He also introduced color lab in Nepal. He was actively engaged in photography and film production business in Nepal as a pioneer since 2017 B.S.after a successful career in cinematography,sound recording and film production. He has also assisted professionally in production of many feature films including "Maitighar",the first private sector, Nepali feature film "Jeevan Jyoti", "Lahure" and produced and directed many documentary and feature films for governmental agencies,and for private sector companies. He is a chairman ofNepal Motion Picture Development Company, Photo Concern Pvt.Ltd, Shanti Films Pvt.Ltd, Janaki Colour Lab Pvt.Ltd.and Advisor of Photographic Association Society(NEPS),member of Western India Cinematography Association(WICA)and Former Chairman and member of Nepal Colour Lab Association,Kathmandu.
