The first ever Nepali Pop Music Festival was held at Tundikhel on 15 May, 2011.
According to the organizer is was 'The Rock Day' but less according to the musical point of view. Om Bikram Bista, Indira Joshi, Yogeshwor Amatya, Adrian Pradhan,  Mingma Sherpa and other 11 singers gave their performance. The sound system was horrible and the behaviour of the crowd was horrible too. They showed it by throwing plastics bottles, etc. to the singers.
