Sixth General Assembly of National Forum of Photo Journalist (NFPJ) The 6th General Assembly of National Forum of Photo Journalists was held on September 3, 2011 (Bhadra 17, 2068) Saturday at Hotel Crown Plaza, Naxal Kathmandu. Opening session was chaired by Mr. Shreedhar Gautam, Secretary of Ministry of Information and Communications, as a Chief guest, Purusotam Ghimire, Camera Chief of Nepal Television, Jagdish Tiwari, Mountain Photographer (Life Member of NFPJ), Deepak Pandey, Central committee members of FNJ, Bikash Rauniyar, Photo Editor Kantipur Publiction Ltd, (NFPJ ex President) and Chandra Shekhar Karki, Photo Editor of Republica (Founder President of NFPJ). This General Assembly nominated its new executive committee consists of President: Kabindra Man Shakya, Vice President Hari Gopal Pradhan, General Secretary: Hari Prasad Humagain, Secretary: Kishor Shrestha , Treasurer: Bal Krishna Thapa, Members: Naresh Shrestha, Kiran Panthi, Debaki Bista, Mahesh Raj Dangol, Ram Gurung (Pokhara) and Ram Saraf (Birgunj).
